I was watching television the other day and saw an ad for anxiety and a pill you could take to help lower your levels of anxiety.  However after telling you they can help with your anxiety it also listed numerous side effects you may experience from taking this medication.  Being more of a natural path person I started to do some research on essential oils and how to use them for all kinds of different health issues.

Peppermint oil is an amazing essential oil with a lot of wonderful benefits.  Peppermint oil has been shown to help as a decongestant when you are suffering from a cold or allergies.  It can also be helpful to reduce headaches and migraines.  If you are feeling nauseous, inhaling the oil can give you almost instant relief.  It has also been know to help clear brain fog and help keep focus when prolonged concentration is needed.  Lavender is another wonderful addition to any essential oil collection and one of my favorites.  Lavender is a wonderful calming oil which can help to alleviate insomnia and promote restful sleep.  It also has sedative and antidepressant properties and really helps to balance out your mood and emotional states such as; shock, rage, stress, nervousness, irritability, impatience and anxiety.  Lavender can also be used for inflammation and treating an assortment of wounds.

Rosemary is a great addition to any essential oil collection.  Rosemary can help those who suffer from skin conditions like; eczema, psoriasis, broken veins and dermatitis.  It can also help with other skin care formulations for treating scars, sun damaged skin, acne, wrinkles and scars.  Remember when using essential oils do your research first before using topically or ingesting it.  There are many wellness centers which have a knowledgeable health care providers.  Dr. Henry Wong, a San Deigo Chiropractor, has many massage therapist at his clinic who can help answer many questions about essential oils and how to use them.  Many San Diego Chiropractors have offices which incorporate many different aspects of health and wellness.  Talk to your local wellness office today if you have questions regarding essential oils or natural remedies.
